Ajay K. Bose,Maghar S. Manhas,Malay Ghosh,Mamta Shah,Vegesna S. Raju,Shamsher S. Bari,Sarder N. Newaz,Bimal K. Banik,Ashok G. Chaudhary,Khaled J. Barakat +9 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Antioxidant activity and ultra-performance LC-electrospray ionization-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry for phenolics-based fingerprinting of Rose species: Rosa damascena, Rosa bourboniana and Rosa brunonii.
TL;DR: Electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry spectra with other diagnostic fragment ions generated by retro Diels-Alder fragmentation pathways were recorded for the flavonoids and distinct similarities were observed in the relative distribution of polyphenolic compounds among the three species.
Book ChapterDOI
Spirocyclic β-Lactams: Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Novel Heterocycles
Shamsher S. Bari,Aman Bhalla +1 more
TL;DR: The progress made in the stereoselective synthesis of spiro-β-lactams, a unique class of heterocycles, their biological evaluation, and their applications in various related fields are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Studies on lactams. 84. Synthesis of azetidine-2,3-diones (.alpha.-keto .beta.-lactams) via 3-(phenylthio)-2-azetidinones
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile stereoselective synthesis of cis- and trans-3-alkoxyazetidin-2-ones
TL;DR: In this paper, a highly stereoselective synthesis of cis- and trans-3-alkoxy-3phenyl/benzylthioazetidin-2-ones is described.
