Polydopamine-modified graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane for proton exchange membrane fuel cell under anhydrous conditions

TL;DR: In this paper, a new approach to the facile preparation of anhydrous proton exchange membrane (PEM) enabled by artificial acid-base pairs is presented, where polydopamine-modified graphene oxide (DGO) sheets bearing NH2 and NHNH groups are fabricated and then incorporated into sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) matrix to prepare the nanocomposite membrane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Melting behaviors, isothermal and non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of nylon 1212

TL;DR: In this paper, the Avrami exponent n was evaluated, and was found to be in the range of 1.56-2.03 for isothermal and 2.38-3.05 for non-isothermal crystallization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photocatalytic CO2 conversion to methanol by Cu2O/graphene/TNA heterostructure catalyst in a visible-light-driven dual-chamber reactor

TL;DR: In this paper, a light-driven dual-chamber reactor using the monolithic two-side Cu 2 O/graphene/TiO 2 nanotube array (TNA) heterostructure as separated oxidation and reduction catalyst, that was prepared with anodic TNA as the substrate following by sequential electrochemical deposition of graphene and Cu 2O.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nanocomposite of graphene oxide with nitrogen-doped TiO2 exhibiting enhanced photocatalytic efficiency for hydrogen evolution

TL;DR: In this paper, a nanocomposite of N-doped TiO2 with graphene oxide (NTG) is prepared and characterized with Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), TEM, Raman spectra, X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), atomic force microscope (AFM), photoluminescent spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mineralization-inspired preparation of composite membranes with polyethyleneimine–nanoparticle hybrid active layer for solvent resistant nanofiltration

TL;DR: In this article, a series of composite membranes with polymer-nanoparticle hybrid active layer were prepared via a generic and facile approach for solvent resistant nanofiltration, and the results suggested that the presence of nanoparticles in active layer endowed the composite membrane with excellent solvent resistance in the above solvents (area swelling below 6%).
