Effect of anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate on the reaction of hexacyanoferrate(III) oxidation of levothyroxine in aqueous medium: a kinetic and mechanistic approach

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) on the rate of oxidation of levothyroxine (LVT) by hexacyanoferrate(III) in alkaline medium has been investigated spectrophotometrically at different temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Copper Nanoparticles Decorated Alginate/Cobalt-Doped Cerium Oxide Composite Beads for Catalytic Reduction and Photodegradation of Organic Dyes

TL;DR: In this article , a cobalt-doped cerium oxide (Co-CeO2) was synthesized and wrapped inside alginate (Alg) hydrogel beads, which were used for photodegradation of acridine orange (ArO) under solar light and reduction of methyl orange (MO) with the aid of NaBH4.
Journal ArticleDOI

Alginate/Banana Waste Beads Supported Metal Nanoparticles for Efficient Water Remediation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used nanostructured materials to enhance the catalytic properties of the beads and found that the beads catalytically reduced up to 95% of above pollutants within a few minutes.
