Effect of the adult pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine on cardiovascular disease: a systematic review and meta-analysis
TL;DR: A systematic review of studies on pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPV) and cardiovascular outcomes was conducted in this article, showing that the use of PPV was associated with a significantly lower risk of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) events in the older population, but not stroke.
