The role of cupric ions in the oxidative dissolution process of marmatite: A dependence on Cu2+ concentration.
Xiaoyu Meng,Hongbo Zhao,Hongbo Zhao,Hongbo Zhao,Menglin Sun,Yisheng Zhang,Yanjun Zhang,Xin Lv,Hyunjung Kim,Mikhail Vainshtein,Shuai Wang,Guanzhou Qiu,Guanzhou Qiu +12 more
TL;DR: Electrochemical measurement and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis indicated that Cu2+ was first adsorbed on the marmatite surface and then produced Cu-S surface species, thus catalyzing the oxidative dissolution process.
Book ChapterDOI
Effect of Sulfuric Acid Concentration on Marmatite Dissolution in the Presence of Cupric Ions
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that cupric ions (Cu2) can accelerate marmatite dissolution significantly at high temperature, regardless of sulfuric acid concentration (pH 0.5-2.5).

Method for adjusting and controlling dissolution of high iron zinc blende
Zhao Hongbo,Xiaoyu Meng,Zhang Yisheng,Yanjun Zhang,Lyu Xin,Deng Jiushuai,Shuai Wang,Wang Jun,Qin Wenqing,Qiu Guanzhou +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for adjusting and controlling the dissolution of high-iron zinc blende is presented, which has simple operation and low cost, is clean and efficient, and has a better large-scale application prospect.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of copper ions on dissolution mechanism of marmatite
TL;DR: The dissolution mechanism of marmatite in the presence of Cu2+ was intensively studied by experiments and density functional theory (DFT) calculations as mentioned in this paper , which showed that the energy of the substitution reaction was more negative than that of the adsorption reaction at high temperatures, which further verified the proposed mechanism.
