Probable variant Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease in Asia: a case report from Taiwan and review of two prior cases.

TL;DR: The first case of new variant Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease in Taiwan is reported: a 34‐year‐old man who had lived in the UK between 1989 and 1997 and died at 28 months after onset, compatible with vCJD cases reported since 1996.

Queckenstedt's Test Affects More than Jugular Venous Congestion in Rat

TL;DR: The Queckenstedt's test appears to obstruct other collateral cerebral veins in addition to bilateral CJV flows, and since this model revealed significant differences between the manual Q-test and bilateral CJv clipping, the finding should be taken into account in future studies on the Q- test in SD rats.
