TL;DR: Although a fairly limited number of medically-related exposures including hormonal medications hospitalization and pregnancy-related events appear to be accurately recalled as demonstrated in the comparisons of self-reports with medical records recall of other medically- related exposures including diagnostic radiographs and history of specific chronic illnesses is not as good.
