Journal ArticleDOI

One-Pot Synthesis of Sulfonamides from Sodium Sulfinates and Amines via Sulfonyl Bromides

TL;DR: A new and convenient procedure has been developed for the preparation of sulfonamides from sodium sulfinates and amines with ( n -C 4 H 9 ) 4 NBr as bromine source and m -chloroperbenzoic acid as oxidant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iodine-catalyzed N-sulfonylation of benzotriazoles with sodium sulfinates under mild conditions

TL;DR: This catalytic radical sulfonylation proceeds efficiently in air at room temperature under neutral conditions, and in short reaction time, to afford the corresponding N-sulfonylbenzotriazoles in good yields, thus extending the catalytic application of molecular iodine in organic synthesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Convenient sulfonylation of benzotriazoles with the in situ–generated sulfonyl bromides

TL;DR: In this article, a procedure was developed for the preparation of N-sulfonylbenzotriazoles from sodium sulfinates, benzotitriazoles, and sodium bromide in the present of m-chloroperbenzoic acid as oxidant.
