Journal Article
Effect of design modifications on trial outcomes in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF): Analysis of data from ASCEND and CAPACITY (CAP)
Talmadge E. King,Williamson Z. Bradford,Socorro Castro-Bernardini,Elizabeth A. Fagan,Ian Glaspole,Marilyn K. Glassberg,Eduard Gorina,Peter Hopkins,David Kardatzke,Lisa Lancaster,David J. Lederer,Steven D. Nathan,Carlos Alberto de Castro Pereira,Steven A. Sahn,Robert Sussman,Jeffrey J. Swigris,Paul W. Noble +16 more
TL;DR: Baseline characteristics in ASCEND were generally similar to those in CAP, but notable differences included lower %FVC and %DL CO and a longer time since diagnosis in ASCend, each of which has been shown to be independently associated with a higher risk of FVC decline.
