The effects of environmental education on children's and parents' knowledge and attitudes towards lemurs in rural Madagascar

TL;DR: This article evaluated the effect of a school-based education programme run by Malagasy researchers aimed at promoting lemur conservation in Eastern Madagascar, and found that children in villages who received environmental education had higher knowledge about lemurs and more positive attitudes than children in the villages not exposed to the environmental education.

Botanic gardens can positively influence visitors’ environmental attitudes

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between knowledge and environmental attitudes and whether visits to botanic gardens alter visitors' ecological knowledge and environment attitudes, and found that environmental attitudes are more positive amongst those leaving a botanic garden.
