TL;DR: In the elderly, TPN was associated with significantly higher lipid oxidation and lower glucose oxidation than in younger patients, and TPN formulas and flow rates should therefore be adapted in the elderly.

TL;DR: Quality of life has improved with regards to the following parameters: decrease of perceived hearing difficulties during conversation without background noise, and decrease of negative emotions while watching TV, after one month of use of the TEO First hearing aid.
