TL;DR: Body recognition was studied in female patients with anorexia nervosa and age matched controls, using a distorted image on a video monitor, and the patients’ desired body shape was significantly thinner than that of controls, as was their estimation of what constitutes a normal body shape.

Correcting the eating disorder in anorexia nervosa
TL;DR: A statistically significant improvement was noted in the occurrence of obsessional eating behaviour and in table manners, but there was no change in the speed of eating, disposal of food or behaviours which reduce caloric intake.
