Highly Efficient Organic/Inorganic Hybrid Nonlinear Optic Materials via Sol−Gel Process: Synthesis, Optical Properties, and Photobleaching for Channel Waveguides
TL;DR: In this paper, the second-order nonlinear optic (NLO) hybrid materials were successfully prepared by a sol−gel process using dye-attached sol-gel monomers (ormosils) attached to silicon atoms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Side-chain liquid-crystalline poly (1,6-heptadiyne)s and other side-chain liquid-crystalline polyacetylenes
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Side-Chain Nonlinear Optical Polymers Based on Poly(1,6-heptadiyne) Derivatives
TL;DR: In this paper, a conjugated backbone for both third-and second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) materials has been investigated and the resulting monomers were easily homopolymerized and also copolymerized with ethyl dipropargyl(diethoxyphosphoryl)acetate (TDPA) using a metathesis catalyst to give corresponding polymers with large optical nonlinearities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and optical-properties of novel side-chain nlo organic-inorganic polymers via sol-gel process
TL;DR: In this paper, a side chain NLO organic/inorganic polymers were developed by sol-gel process of dye-contained triethoxysilane with tetraethoxisilane.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Amine-Contained Electroluminescent Polymer
Dong Jin Kim,Sunghyun Kim,Ji-Hoon Lee,Su-Jin Kang,Hwan-Kyu Kim,Taehyoung Zyung,Iwhan Cho,Sam-Kwon Choi +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new type of processable electroluminescent polymer containing tertiary amine linkage was prepared by typical Wittig reaction between bis(4-formylphenyl) n-butylamine and diphosphonium salt.
