Compressible quantum phases from

Subir Sachdev
TL;DR: In this paper, a 2+1 dimensional conformal field theory (CFT) with a globally conserved U(1) charge Q can be deformed into compressible phases by modifying their Hamiltonian, H, by a chemical potentialH! H Q Q. The Bose metal preserves all symmetries and has Fermi surfaces of gauge-charged fermions.

Phase transition beneath the superconducting dome in BaFe[subscript 2](As[subscript 1-x]P[subscript x])[subscript 2]

TL;DR: Debanjan Chowdhury, J. Orenstein, Subir Sachdev, 1, 3 and T. Senthil as mentioned in this paper have proposed a method to solve the problem of particle filtering.

Excited-state spectra at the superfluid-insulator transition out of paired condensates

Stephen Powell, +1 more
- 15 Mar 2007 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe gapped singleparticle and collective excitations across a superfluid to insulator quantum phase transition of particles (bosons or fermions) in a periodic potential, with an even number of particles per unit cell.
