Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced p-type conductivity and band gap narrowing in heavily Al doped NiO thin films deposited by RF magnetron sputtering.

TL;DR: Al doped NiO thin films were synthesized by radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering on glass substrates at a substrate temperature of 250 °C in an oxygen + argon atmosphere in order to enhance the p-type electrical conductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of oxygen partial pressure on the electrical and optical properties of highly (200) oriented p-type Ni1−xO films by DC sputtering

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the electrical and optical properties of NiO films as a function of different partial pressure of oxygen in the sputtering gas mixture during deposition and showed that the transparency decreases with increasing oxygen partial pressure and the bandgap also decreases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of graphene–polyaniline composites by simple chemical procedure and its improved field emission properties

TL;DR: Graphene-polyaniline composites have been synthesized using simple chemical procedure in two different ways (i) by mixing of the pre-synthesized graphene and polyanILine nanofibers and (ii) by in situ polymerization in presence of graphite oxide followed by further reduction.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Review on Cu 2 O and Cu I -Based p -Type Semiconducting Transparent Oxide Materials: Promising Candidates for New Generation Oxide Based Electronics

TL;DR: A comprehensive review on the recent developments and trends on Cu I -based p-type oxide material is presented in this paper, where the properties, defect mechanisms and syntheses of various Cu I-based p -type oxides, including the parent compound, Cu 2 O are discussed in details.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Mn doping on the optical and structural properties of ZnO nano/micro-fibrous thin film synthesized by sol-gel technique

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple sol-gel dip-coating technique was used to synthesize Zn1−xMnxO sub-micron fibrous thin films and the average diameter of the ZnO fibers were ∼700nm whereas the length was several hundred micro-meters and hence the aspect ratio was quite large (>150.
