Unoxidized Graphene/Alumina Nanocomposite: Fracture- and Wear-Resistance Effects of Graphene on Alumina Matrix
Hyo Jin Kim,Sung-Min Lee,Yoon-Suk Oh,Young-Hwan Yang,Young Soo Lim,Dae Ho Yoon,Changgu Lee,Jong-Young Kim,Rodney S. Ruoff +8 more
TL;DR: The synthesis of unoxidized graphene/alumina composite materials having enhanced toughness, strength, and wear-resistance by a low-cost and environmentally benign pressure-less-sintering process is reported on.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Review of Flexible OLEDs Toward Highly Durable Unusual Displays
TL;DR: In this article, a review of recent developments in structure designs for highly durable flexible OLEDs, ranging from alternative transparent electrodes to thin-film encapsulation layers, in which solution concepts for the existing critical issues of flexible OLED displays are addressed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Plasmonic Color Filter and its Fabrication for Large-Area Applications
TL;DR: The surface plasmons (SPs) in optically thin metal fi lms contribute to extraordinary optical transmission (EOT) through subwavelength apertures as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Heterogeneously Integrated Optoelectronic Devices Enabled by Micro‐Transfer Printing
Jongseung Yoon,Sung-Min Lee,Dongseok Kang,Matthew Meitl,Matthew Meitl,Christopher A. Bower,John A. Rogers +6 more
TL;DR: Transfer printing is a materials assembly technique that uses elastomeric stamps for heterogeneous integration of various classes of micro-and nanostructured materials into two-and three-dimensionalally organized layouts on virtually any type of substrate as mentioned in this paper.

Soft fabric-based flexible organic light-emitting diodes
Woohyun Kim,Seonil Kwon,Sung-Min Lee,Jin Yeong Kim,Yun Cheol Han,Eungtaek Kim,Kyung Cheol Choi,Sungmee Park,Byoung-Cheul Park +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the first organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) on actual soft fabrics that can be used for a wearable display were reported, which showed a high current efficiency of around 8cd/A, reliability during a 1000 cycle bending test with a bending radius of 5mm, and clear green emission up to an emission angle of 70°.
