TL;DR: It is likely that HIV-1 therapeutic immunization may show its greatest clinical benefit in participants with higher CD4+ cell counts, and such an approach may have important ramifications in developing countries where access to antiviral drugs is limited and also in early chronic HIV-2 infection when CD4- cells are still over 300 cells/μL.

TL;DR: Despite an active programme for prevention of STD in CSW and the provision of free condoms, STD were diagnosed in one-third of the screened CSW in Chiang Mai, and the programme needs to be strengthened by more intensive education and practice in the correct and consistent use of condoms.

TL;DR: It was found that condom use rates were generally low in all contraceptive groups and significant factors affecting condom use in multivariate analyses included, contraceptive method at baseline, polygynous marriage, higher education, engaging in commercial sex work, multiple sex partners, sex during menses, more frequent sex.
