TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the renal effects of Ramipril (an ACE inhibitor), telmisartan (an ARB), and their combination in patients aged 55 years or older with established atherosclerotic vascular disease or with diabetes with end-organ damage.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multiple Aneurysms of Coronary Artery in Sclerodermal Heart Disease

Journal ArticleDOI
Massive Thrombosis of the Coronary Sinus As an Unusual Complication of Transvenous Pacemaker Insertion in a Patient with Persistent Left, and No Right Superior Vena Cava
Suphachai Chaithiraphan,Suphachai Chaithiraphan,Emanuel Goldberg,Emanuel Goldberg,William I. Wolff,William I. Wolff,Payonk Jootar,Payonk Jootar,Will Grossman,Will Grossman +9 more
TL;DR: The patient reported here (an 85‐year‐old man) had the foregoing abnormal form of venous return, which presented great difficulty when insertion of a transvenous pacemaker was attempted, and postmortem examination revealed massive thrombosis of the coronary sinus.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prevention of post-brachial-arteriotomy thrombosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Systolic Time Intervals, Relation to Atrial Contraction and Leg Elevation in Patients with Transvenous Pacemakers and Fixed Rate Pacing
TL;DR: Systolic time intervals were measured in 15 patients with complete heart Mock and fixed rate ventricular pacing during supine position and 60' leg elevation and Ventricular be* preceded by atrial activity at an optimal PR interval showed significant increase in LVET, ejection fraction and stroke volume compared to those without atrialActivity and those in atrial fibrillation.
