TL;DR: The cachectic state was predictive of 18-month mortality independent of age, NYHA class, left-ventricular ejection fraction, and peak oxygen consumption, and a subset of patients at extremely high risk of death was identified.

TL;DR: Investigation of the use of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring in identifying and managing a group of patients referred to a tertiary centre for the assessment of their blood pressure and to illustrate the importance of introducing standardised ABPM treatment guidelines found more patients had abnormal blood pressure levels according to ABPM, even though it is superior in detecting WCE and WCH.
