Journal ArticleDOI
Reduction of atherogenic risk in patients with type 2 diabetes by curcuminoid extract: a randomized controlled trial.
Somlak Chuengsamarn,Suthee Rattanamongkolgul,Benjaluck Phonrat,Rungsunn Tungtrongchitr,Siwanon Jirawatnotai +4 more
TL;DR: A 6-month curcumin intervention in type 2 diabetic population lowered the atherogenic risks and helped to improve relevant metabolic profiles in this high-risk population, according to homeostasis model assessment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Factors affecting soft tissue level around anterior maxillary single‐tooth implants
TL;DR: The papilla level around single-tooth implants in the anterior maxilla was mainly influenced by the interproximal bone crest level of the adjacent tooth, while the facial marginal mucosal level was affected by multiple factors including the peri-implant biotype, the facial bone crestlevel, the implant fixture angle, the depth of implant platform, and the level of first bone to implant contact.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Association between serum uric acid level and microalbuminuria to chronic vascular complications in Thai patients with type 2 diabetes
TL;DR: Monitoring of uric acid and microalbuminuria levels provides a predictive value for a presence of chronic micro/macro-vascular complications in patients with type 2 diabetes.
