Two-particle states in 210Pb, 210Bi and 210Po with realistic forces
TL;DR: In this article, two-particle states in 210 Pb, 210 Bi and 210 Po were calculated with reaction matrix elements deduced from the Hamada-Johnston potential.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure of finite nuclei and the free nucleon-nucleon interaction: General discussion of the effective force
G.E. Brown,T.T.S. Kuo +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the main features of the observed effective forces in nuclei can be calculated directly from the free nucleon-nucleon interaction and that the calculated strength of the P 2 force agrees well with that obtained empirically.
Journal ArticleDOI
Role of chirality in angular momentum coupling for A¨130 odd-odd triaxial nuclei: 132 La
K. Starosta,C. J. Chiara,D. B. Fossan,Takeshi Koike,T.T.S. Kuo,D. R. LaFosse,Stanisław G. Rohoziński,Ch. Droste,T. Morek,J. Srebrny +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a phenomenological approach based on a core-particle-hole coupling model was developed to address the experimental observables, in which chiral symmetry has been restored, including a triaxial core, a particle/hole singleparticle Hamiltonian and quadrupole-quadrupole interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Scale-Invariant Hidden Local Symmetry, Topology Change and Dense Baryonic Matter II
TL;DR: In this article, a scale-chiral symmetric Lagrangian was used to predict the sound velocity of a massive compact star at the equilibrium density, which is consistent with the properties of nuclear matter at the same density.
