Rapid and Simultaneous Detection of Genes Encoding Klebsiella pneumoniae Carbapenemase (blaKPC) and New Delhi Metallo-β-Lactamase (blaNDM) in Gram-Negative Bacilli
TL;DR: The duplex, real-time PCR assay for detection of Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase and New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase genes had 100% sensitivity and specificity compared with reference methods and a turnaround time of 90 min.
