Formation of hydroxyapatite on Ti–6Al–4V alloy by microarc oxidation and hydrothermal treatment

TL;DR: In this paper, microarc oxidation was performed on Ti-6Al-4V in electrolytes containing calcium glycerphosphate (Ca-GP) and calcium acetate (CA) using a regulated direct current power supply.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation characterization of hydroxyapatite on titanium by microarc oxidation and hydrothermal treatment.

TL;DR: It was found that the MAO method is suitable forming a ceramic coating containing Ca and P using titanium, and that films display a porous and rough structure on their surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biomimetic deposition of apatite coatings on micro-arc oxidation treated biomedical NiTi alloy

TL;DR: In this article, the biomedical NiTi alloy was treated by micro-arc oxidation in an electrolytes containing sodium aluminate and sodium hypophosphite at 400 V constant voltages for 30 min.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydroxyapatite formation on oxide films containing Ca and P by hydrothermal treatment

TL;DR: In this paper, microarc oxidation was performed on titanium by means of direct current power supply, and the oxide films containing Ca and P were obtained in an electrolyte containing β-glycerophosphate sodium salt pentahydrate and calcium acetate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrothermal synthesis of fibrous lead titanate powders

TL;DR: In this paper, a fibrous lead titanate (PbTiO3) powder with light-yellow colour has been prepared by hydrothermal synthesis, and the influences of Pb/Ti ratio (0.3 to 1.0) in the mixture and reaction time on the formation of fibrous PbTi O3 under hydrothermastic conditions have been investigated.
