Reflection high-energy electron diffraction study of the heterointerface formation of ZnSe/ZnTe
TL;DR: Based on detailed reflection high-energy diffraction (RHEED) measurements during ALE growth of ZnTe on ZnSe, the authors showed that the surface coverage is less than unity even for saturation coverage, hence the incorporation of atoms should be smaller than one monolayer (1 ML) during each open period of the shutter.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of ZnSe/GaAs(001) Heteroepitaxial Interfaces by X-Ray Reflectivity Measurement
Aya Takase,Masaru Kuribayashi,Kohtaro Ishida,Kozo Kimura,Li-Hsin Kuo,Tetsuji Yasuda,Shiro Miwa,Takafumi Yao,Hirofumi Tomita,Satoshi Komiya +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the interfacial structure of ZnSe/GaAs (001) epitaxial crystals is studied using X-ray reflectivity measurements, where samples are grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) with Se- or Zn-treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Surface Treatments on Optical Properties of GaN
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors found that it is more difficult to remove the oxide layer made by O-plasma such as in Oplasma asher than that of native one, and that HF etching is effective for removal of the artificial oxide layer without changing surface morphology.
Journal ArticleDOI
High quality p-type ZnO film grown on ZnO substrate by nitrogen and tellurium co-doping
Seunghwan Park,Tsutomu Minegishi,Jinsub Park,Hyunjae Lee,Toshinori Taishi,Ichiro Yonenaga,D. C. Oh,Mina Jung,Jiho Chang,Soon-Ku Hong,Takafumi Yao +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, nitrogen and tellurium co-doped ZnO (ZnO:[N+Te]) films have been grown on (0001) znO substrate by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural Characterization of Bismuth Zinc Oxide Thin Films Grown by Plasma-Assisted Molecular Beam Epitaxy
Dong-Seok Lim,Eun-Jung Shin,Se-Hwan Lim,Seok-Kyu Han,Hyo-Sung Lee,Soon-Ku Hong,Myoung-Ho Joeng,Jeong-Yong Lee,Hyung Koun Cho,Takafumi Yao +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the structural characterization of thin films grown on c-plane sapphire substrates by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy is presented, and it is shown that by increasing the Bi flux during the growth process, thin films with various Bi contents (x
