Systematic Comparison of Eight Substrates in the Growth of FeSe$_{0.5}$Te$_{0.5}$ Superconducting Thin Films

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structures and superconducting properties of thin films of FeSe$0.5}$Te$ 0.5$ grown on eight different substrates were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Systematic Comparison of Eight Substrates in the Growth of FeSe0.5Te0.5 Superconducting Thin Films

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structures and superconducting properties of thin films of FeSe0.5Te 0.5 grown on eight different substrates were investigated, and it was shown that the presence or absence of an amorphous-like layer at the substrate surface plays a key role in determining the structural and superconding properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Epitaxial growth of FeSe$_{0.5}$Te$_{0.5}$ thin films on CaF$_2$ substrates with high critical current density

TL;DR: In-situ epitaxial growth of FeSe$0.5}$Te$ 0.5$ thin films is demonstrated on a non-oxide substrate CaF$_2$ in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

In situ growth of superconducting NdFeAs(O,F) thin films by molecular beam epitaxy

TL;DR: In this paper, superconducting NdFeAs(O,F) thin films were grown on GaAs substrates by molecular beam epitaxy, and they were shown to exhibit a clear super-conducting transition with an onset temperature up to 48 K and zero resistance temperature of up to 42 K without the need of an ex situ annealing process.
