Journal ArticleDOI
The effect of crystallographic mismatch on the obstacle strength of second phase precipitate particles in dispersion strengthening: bcc Nb particles and nanometric Nb clusters embedded in hcp Zr
Yoshitaka Matsukawa,Huilong Yang,K. Saito,Y. Murakami,T. Maruyama,Takeo Iwai,Kenta Murakami,Yasunari Shinohara,T. Kido,Takeshi Toyama,Zishou Zhao,Yanfen Li,Sho Kano,Yuhki Satoh,Yasuyoshi Nagai,Hiroaki Abe +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the obstacle strength of body centered cubic (bcc) Nb particles and nanometric Nb clusters embedded in hexagonal close packed (hcp) Zr matrix was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ion Beam Induced Crosslinking Reactions in Poly(di-n-hexylsilane)
Shu Seki,Kensaku Maeda,Yoshihisa Kunimi,Seiichi Tagawa,Yoichi Yoshida,Hisaaki Kudoh,Masaki Sugimoto,Yosuke Morita,Tadao Seguchi,Takeo Iwai,Hiromi Shibata,Keisuke Asai,Kenkichi Ishigure +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors traced the molecular weight of poly(di-n-hexylsilane) to give the efficiency of crosslinking reactions based on the Charlesby−Pinner relationship.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synergistic effects of hydrogen and helium on microstructural evolution in vanadium alloys by triple ion beam irradiation
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the synergistic effects of He and H on microstructural evolution in pure vanadium and two vanadium alloys including candidate ternary alloy V-5Cr-5Ti.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vacancy-type defect production in iron under ion beam irradiation investigated with positron beam Doppler broadening technique
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of positron beam Doppler broadening (PKA) energy on vacancy-type defect production was investigated with PKA-based spectrum broadening technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
The synergistic influence of temperature and displacement rate on microstructural evolution of ion-irradiated Fe–15Cr–16Ni model austenitic alloy
TL;DR: In this article, an experimental investigation of microstructural evolution has been conducted on Fe-15Cr-16Ni irradiated with 40 MeV nickel ions, with dose levels ranging from 0.02 to 17 dpa at temperatures of 300, 400, 500 and 600°C at displacement rates of 1 x 10-4, 4 x 10 -4, and 1x 10-3 dpa/sec.
