QTL mapping of flowering time using AFLP and candidate gene markers in the tetraploid Capsella bursa-pastoris (Brassicaceae).
TL;DR: The genetic basis of flowering time variation in the wild tetraploid crucifer Capsella bursa-pastoris was examined and it was found that allele sharing in sympatry was better explained by introgressive hybridization than by multiple origins of the tetraPLoid.

Unboxing mutations: Connecting mutation types with evolutionary consequences
Emma L. Berdan,Alexandre Blanckaert,Tanja Slotte,Alexander Suh,Alexander Suh,Anja M. Westram,Anja M. Westram,Inês Fragata +7 more
TL;DR: A research framework is proposed that directly utilizes the most important characteristics of mutations, their population genetic effects, to determine their relative evolutionary significance in a given scenario.

Genomic signatures of sexual selection on pollen-expressed genes in Arabis alpina
J. Gutierrez-Valencia,Marco Fracassetti,Robert Horvath,Benjamin Laenen,Aurélie Désamoré,Andreas D. Drouzas,Magne Friberg,Filip Kolar,Tanja Slotte +8 more
TL;DR: This paper analyzed whole-genome sequences from natural populations of Arabis alpina, a species showing mating system variation across its distribution, to test whether shifts from cross-to self-fertilization result in molecular signatures consistent with sexual selection on genes involved in pollen competition.
