Journal ArticleDOI

A photofunctional bottom-up bis(dipyrrinato)zinc(II) complex nanosheet

TL;DR: The design and synthesis of a bottom-up nanosheet featuring a photoactive bis(dipyrrinato)zinc(II) complex motif is shown, which is thus the first photofunctional bottom- up nanosheets reported thus far.
Journal ArticleDOI

New aspects in bis and tris(dipyrrinato)metal complexes: bright luminescence, self-assembled nanoarchitectures, and materials applications

TL;DR: A review article summarizes recent progress in bis(dipyrrinato)metal(II) and tris(dipsinato) metal(III) complexes from the viewpoint of materials chemistry as discussed by the authors, and discusses potential applications based on these nanoarchitectures, such as thermoelectric and photoelectric conversion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bis(dipyrrinato)metal(II) coordination polymers: crystallization, exfoliation into single wires, and electric conversion ability

TL;DR: In this article, a bridging dipyrrin ligand and divalent metal ions (Zn2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+) are synthesized, and a liquid/liquid interfacial reaction gives rise to single crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction analysis.
