Yersinia ruckeri Isolates Recovered from Diseased Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar) in Scotland Are More Diverse than Those from Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and Represent Distinct Subpopulations
Michael J. Ormsby,Thomas Caws,Richard Burchmore,Tim Wallis,David W. Verner-Jeffreys,Robert L. Davies +5 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Y. ruckeri isolates recovered from diseased Atlantic salmon in Scotland are more diverse than those from rainbow trout; furthermore, isolates from the two species represent distinct subpopulations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigating heparin affinity chromatography for extracellular vesicle purification and fractionation.
Benjamin Barnes,Thomas Caws,Samantha Thomas,Alex P. Shephard,Randolph Corteling,Paul Hole,Daniel G. Bracewell +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the potential of heparin affinity chromatography (HAC) to purify neural stem cell-derived EVs as part of a multistep process was evaluated and it was found that HAC could remove on average 98.8% and 99.0% of residual protein and DNA respectively.
