A modular luminescence lifetime imaging system for mapping oxygen distribution in biological samples

TL;DR: In this paper, a modular luminescence lifetime imaging system (MOLLI) was developed, which enables the imaging of luminecence lifetimes in the range of 1 ms to 1 s. The system can easily be adapted to different experimental applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Overview of results from Wendelstein7-X HTS current lead testing

TL;DR: In this paper, an overview of all conducted HTS current leads acceptance tests is given, and the results for the different CLs are summarized and compared to the specifications. But the main parts of each acceptance test are the determination of the heat load at the 4.5-k level, of the necessary 50-k He mass flow rate through the heat exchanger as well as the simulation of a loss of flow accident of the 50-K mass flow at full current (18.2kA).
Journal ArticleDOI

Overview of JT-60SA HTS Current Lead Manufacture and Testing

TL;DR: In this article, an overview of the manufacture and acceptance tests of the high-temperature superconductor (HTS) current lead is given. But the main parts of the acceptance test are the determination of the heat load at 4 K and the 50 K He mass flow rate through the heat exchanger as well as the simulation of a loss of flow accident.
Journal ArticleDOI

Status of series production and test of the HTS current leads for Wendelstein 7-X

TL;DR: The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is responsible for design, production and test of the High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) current leads for the stellarator Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design, construction and performance of the current lead test facility CuLTKa

TL;DR: The setup of the CuLTKa facility is described from cryogenic, electrical and process control point of view and will highlight the design of particular technical aspects.
