TL;DR: In this article, the 3-ring groupings of tetrahedra as part of 1-dimensional chains of MXO 4 (M=Zn, Be; X=P, As) groups are reported.
Abstract: The hydrothermal syntheses and X-ray single-crystal structures of Be 2 AsO 4 OH.4H 2 O and Na 2 ZnPO 4 OH.7H 2 O, two phases which contain 3-ring groupings of tetrahedra as part of 1-dimensional chains of MXO 4 (M=Zn, Be; X=P, As) groups, are reported. MAS NMR and TGA data are reported for these phases, and the structures of these two materials are briefly compared with those of some other known extended tetrahedral species.

TL;DR: Two zinc phosphate layered materials, each containing unique 3-rings yet differing hydrogen bonding schemes, have been prepared by hydrothermal methods and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, TGA, and MAS NMR as mentioned in this paper.

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and single-crystal structure of Li8(HPO4)(BePO4)6·H2O (BePO-LOS), which is a topological equivalent of the synthetic low-sodium aluminosilicate zeolite losod, Na6(AlSiO4), 6·9 H2O, was reported.

TL;DR: The synthesis and crystal structure of tetrakis(tetramethylammonium) octamolybdate dihydrate, [N(CH 3 ) 4 ] 4 [Mo 8 O 26 ].2H 2 O, is reported in this article.
Abstract: The synthesis and crystal structure of tetrakis(tetramethylammonium) octamolybdate dihydrate, [N(CH 3 ) 4 ] 4 [Mo 8 O 26 ].2H 2 O, is reported. The Mo 8 O 26 unit adopts the β configuration for that ion. Mo-O distances and angles are comparable with those found in previous studies of the same anion

TL;DR: In this article, a single-crystal (to 2 mm) hydrothermal synthesis of Na[sub 1/2]-H[sub 3]O]-Nb[sub 2]-Ta[sub x]PO[sub 8] was carried out at 30,000-40,000 psi and 650-700 degrees C.
Abstract: The syntheses, structures, and physical properties of several members of a new family of noncentrosymmetric, open-framework, ion-exchangeable phases which have a substantial nonlinear optical response (Nd:YAG 1064 nm) are described. Single-crystal (to 2 mm) hydrothermal synthesis of Na[sub 1/2](H[sub 3]O)[sub 1/2]Nb[sub 2]PO[sub 8] was carried out at 30,000-40,000 psi and 650-700[degrees]C. The structure of Na[sub 1/2](H[sub 3]O)[sub 1/2]Nb[sub 2]PO[sub 8], as determined from single-crystal X-ray data consists of an octahedral (NbO[sub 6])/tetrahedral (PO[sub 4]) framework, connected via Nb-O-P and Nb-O-Nb bonds, with cavities and channels occupied by the Na[sup +] and H[sub 3]O[sup +] cations. Members of the solid solution K[sub 2/3]Li[sub 1/3]Nb[sub 2[minus]x]Ta[sub x]PO[sub 8] (0 3[sigma](I)]. 23 refs., 10 figs., 5 tabs.« less

TL;DR: The crystal structures of three new materials, Zn 5 (PO 4 ) 4 (HPO 4 4.H 2 O), Li 8 (ZnO 4 )(BePO 4 ), 6.2H 2 N 2 C 6 H 12, LiZnPO 4, 6.6.
Abstract: The crystal structures of three new materials, Zn 5 (PO 4 ) 4 (HPO 4 ) 4 .H 2 O.2H 2 N 2 C 6 H 12 , Li 8 (HPO 4 )(BePO 4 )6.H 2 O and LiZnPO 4 .H 2 O are briefly described. The open, anionic frameworks of each are made up of Be/ZnO 4 and PO 4 tetrahedra, with extra-framework cations in the pores for charge balance. Some systematics of the beryllo(zinco)-phosphate(arsenate) structure field are outlined.
