Double Auger Emission of fixed-in-space Carbon Monoxide following Core-Excitation and Ionization
Florian Trinter,Markus Schöffler,Till Jahnke,Irina Bocharova,A. Vredenborg,Renaud Guillemin,Felix Sturm,N. Neumann,K. Cole,Joshua B. Williams,Marc Simon,Allen Landers,Th. Weber,R. Dörner +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the first experiment where both Auger electrons in double Auger decay have been measured in coincidence with the ionic fragments was reported. But the experiment was conducted at the core level photo excitation and after ionization through synchrotron radiation in gas phase carbon monoxide.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of environmental effects in prototypical noble gas clusters using fluorescence spectroscopy
Andreas Hans,Xaver Holzapfel,Philipp Schmidt,Christian Ozga,Uwe Hergenhahn,Till Jahnke,Reinhard Dörner,Arno Ehresmann,André Knie +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors report on progress in fluorescence spectroscopy experiments on prototypical noble gas clusters and show that fluorescence can be used as complementary tool to track such processes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Designing a COLTRIMS Reaction-Microscope for multi-hit coincident measurements with the SQS instrument at European XFEL
G. Kastirke,Alexander Hartung,Lothar Ph. H. Schmidt,Till Jahnke,M. Schoeffler,Robert Moshammer,Michael Meyer,Reinhard Dörner +7 more
Abstract: Using intense photon beams from the XFEL free electron laser, the COLTRIMS Reaction Microscope will be a versatile tool for examination of the dynamics in small quantum systems.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental measurement of Interatomic Coulombic Decay rates in Argon dimers
J. Rist,J. Rist,Markus Schöffler,A. Moradmand,Allen Landers,Bishwanath Gaire,Thorsten Weber,P Kolorence,Kirill Gokhberg,Till Jahnke,R. Dörner +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a method by which the internuclear distance-dependent decay width of interatomic Coulombic decay can be obtained using a measured energy distribution and a classical nuclear dynamics model.
Journal ArticleDOI
2D momentum distribution of electron in transfer ionization of helium atom by fast proton
Markus Schöffler,Ochbadrakh Chuluunbaatar,Ochbadrakh Chuluunbaatar,Yu. V. Popov,S. Houamer,J. Titze,Till Jahnke,L. Ph. H. Schmidt,Ottmar Jagutzki,A. Galstyan,Alexander Gusev +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the 2D distribution of momentum components of the ejected electron in the reaction H+ +He → H+He2++e at 630 keV proton is studied both theoretically and experimentally.
