Double Auger Emission of fixed-in-space Carbon Monoxide following Core-Excitation and Ionization

TL;DR: In this paper, the first experiment where both Auger electrons in double Auger decay have been measured in coincidence with the ionic fragments was reported. But the experiment was conducted at the core level photo excitation and after ionization through synchrotron radiation in gas phase carbon monoxide.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of environmental effects in prototypical noble gas clusters using fluorescence spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the authors report on progress in fluorescence spectroscopy experiments on prototypical noble gas clusters and show that fluorescence can be used as complementary tool to track such processes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Designing a COLTRIMS Reaction-Microscope for multi-hit coincident measurements with the SQS instrument at European XFEL

Abstract: Using intense photon beams from the XFEL free electron laser, the COLTRIMS Reaction Microscope will be a versatile tool for examination of the dynamics in small quantum systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental measurement of Interatomic Coulombic Decay rates in Argon dimers

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a method by which the internuclear distance-dependent decay width of interatomic Coulombic decay can be obtained using a measured energy distribution and a classical nuclear dynamics model.
