Charge transfer processes in proton-helium collisions: The validity of the first Born approximation
Yu. V. Popov,Yu. V. Popov,A. Galstyan,Ochbadrakh Chuluunbaatar,Ochbadrakh Chuluunbaatar,S. Houamer,A. A. Bulychev,Markus Schöffler,H. K. Kim,J. Titze,Till Jahnke,L. Ph. H. Schmidt,Horst Schmidt-Böcking,R. Dörner +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the validity of the Born series expansion for charge transfer reactions in the case of a proton-helium collision is studied, and the role of the electron-electron correlations in the initial helium state is discussed in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI
THz Streaking of the Autoionization Dynamics of O 2 at the Free-Electron-Laser FLASH
Yifan Liu,Kirsten Schnorr,Gerhard Schmid,Sven Augustin,Severin Meister,Hannes Carsten Lindenblatt,Artem Rudenko,Matthias Kübel,Christian Burger,N. Stojanovic,R. Treusch,S. Düsterer,Till Jahnke,Matthias F. Kling,C. D. Schröter,T. Pfeifer,R. Moshammer +16 more
TL;DR: The Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik, Saupfercheckweg 1, 69117 Heidelberg, Germany as mentioned in this paper and the J.R. Macdonald Laboratory, Kansas State University, Manhattan, 66506 Kansas, USA
Journal ArticleDOI
Publisher Correction: Imaging the square of the correlated two-electron wave function of a hydrogen molecule.
M. Waitz,Roger Y. Bello,D. Metz,Julian Lower,Florian Trinter,C. Schober,M. Keiling,U. Lenz,M. Pitzer,K. Mertens,Michael Martins,Jens Viefhaus,S. Klumpp,Thorsten Weber,L. Ph. H. Schmidt,Joshua B. Williams,Markus Schöffler,Vladislav V. Serov,Anatoli Kheifets,Luca Argenti,Luca Argenti,Alicia Palacios,F. Martín,Till Jahnke,R. Dörner +24 more
TL;DR: The role of electron correlation is quite apparent in this presentation: Fig. 1a is empty for the uncorrelated Hartree–Fock wave function, since projection of the latter wave function onto the 2pσu orbital is exactly zero, while this is not the case for the fully correlated wave function.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cover Picture: Absolute Configuration from Different Multifragmentation Pathways in Light‐Induced Coulomb Explosion Imaging (ChemPhysChem 16/2016)
M. Pitzer,G. Kastirke,Maksim Kunitski,Till Jahnke,T. Bauer,C. Goihl,Florian Trinter,C. Schober,K. Henrichs,J. Becht,S. Zeller,H. Gassert,M. Waitz,Andreas Kuhlins,H. Sann,Felix Sturm,F. Wiegandt,R. Wallauer,Lothar Ph. H. Schmidt,Allan S. Johnson,Manuel Mazenauer,Benjamin Spenger,Sabrina Marquardt,Sebastian Marquardt,Horst Schmidt-Böcking,Jürgen Stohner,Reinhard Dörner,Markus Schöffler,Robert Berger +28 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Stereochemical configuration and selective excitation of the chiral molecule halothane
M. Pitzer,G. Kastirke,Phillip Burzinsky,M. Weller,D. Metz,Jonathan Neff,M. Waitz,Florian Trinter,Lothar Ph. H. Schmidt,Joshua B. Williams,Till Jahnke,Horst Schmidt-Böcking,Robert Berger,Reinhard Dörner,Markus Schöffler +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, X-ray single-photon ionization and fragmentation of the chiral molecule halothane from a racemic mixture were investigated using the cold target recoil ion momentum spectroscopy technique.
