Journal ArticleDOI

Strongest π–metal orbital coupling in a porphyrin/gold cluster system

TL;DR: In this paper, a porphyrin-coordinated Au cluster was synthesized in face-on configuration at the closest distance, and the interaction between the Au cluster and POR was investigated by UV-vis-NIR and transient absorption measurement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rhombic Coulomb diamonds in a single-electron transistor based on an Au nanoparticle chemically anchored at both ends

TL;DR: Rhombic Coulomb diamonds are clearly observed in a chemically anchored Au nanoparticle single-electron transistor and the stability diagrams show stable Coulomb blockade phenomena and agree with the theoretical curve calculated using the orthodox model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Harmonic Quantum Coherence of Multiple Excitons in PbS/CdS Core-Shell Nanocrystals.

TL;DR: It is found that multiple excitons cause the harmonic dipole oscillations with ω, 2ω, and 3ω oscillations, even though the excitation pulse energy is set to the exciton resonance frequency, ω.

Method for fabricating nanogap electrodes, nanogap electrodes array, and nanodevice with the same

TL;DR: In this article, a substrate having metal layers 2A and 2B arranged to form a gap is dipped in an electroless plating solution mixed an electrolyte solution including metal ions with a reducing agent and a surfactant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Number of Surface-Attached Acceptors on a Quantum Dot Impacts Energy Transfer and Photon Upconversion Efficiencies

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a photon upconversion system that uses triplet-triplet annihilation upconvergence (TTA-UC) for organic molecules and inorganic quantum dots.
