Journal ArticleDOI

Bronchiolitis Obliterans: Report of Three Cases with Detailed Physiologic Studies

TL;DR: Clinical improvement was observed along with normalization of the pressure-volume curve and a decline in the upstream resistance in patient 3 (bronchiolitis obliterans with interstitial pneumonitis).
Journal ArticleDOI

Indomethacin-responsive mononuclear cell dysfunction in “atypical” mycobacteriosis

TL;DR: The hypothesis that some patients with “atypical” mycobacterial disease have abnormal immunoregulation which may be mediated by an imbalance of the metabolic products of arachidonic acid, an abnormality similar to that noted in Hodgkin's disease and chronic coccidioidomycosis is supported.
Book ChapterDOI

Improvement of Abnormal Lymphocyte Responses in “Atypical” Mycobacteriosis with Indomethacin

TL;DR: To explain the predisposition of individuals to infections with nontuberculous mycobacteria, one would predict an abnormality of immunoregulatory mechanisms rather than a failure to develop immunocompetent lymphoid cells.
