Data Augmentation Schemes Applied to Image Restoration

TL;DR: A physical model for the generation of images associated with these systems and a restoration algorithm that is designed to compensate for these sources of degradation are described and a Gibbs prior for the image is utilizes.
Book ChapterDOI

Bayes Factors Based on Test Statistics Under Order Restrictions

TL;DR: The subject of statistical inference under order restrictions has been studied extensively since Bartholomew's likelihood-ratio test for means under restricted alternatives as mentioned in this paper, which explicitly introduces scientific knowledge into the mathematical formulation of the problem, which can improve inference.
Journal ArticleDOI

Assessing fit in Bayesian models for spatial processes

TL;DR: In this article, a general goodness-of-fit test and related graphical diagnostics for assessing the fit of Bayesian Gaussian process models using pivotal discrepancy measures are presented. But, as of yet, the accuracy of these tests is limited.
