Journal ArticleDOI

Characterisation and anti-biofilm activity of extracellular polymeric substances from Oceanobacillus iheyensis.

TL;DR: The high viscosity, emulsifying properties and antibiofilm activity of EPS make it suitable for potential pharmaceutical and industrial applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microwave-Assisted Synthesis of Boron and Nitrogen co-doped Reduced Graphene Oxide for the Protection of Electromagnetic Radiation in Ku-Band.

TL;DR: B-N-MRG has great potential as a candidate for a new type of EMI shielding material useful in aircraft, defense industries, communication systems, and stealth technology.
Journal ArticleDOI

Different shades of cholesterol: Gold nanoparticles supported on MoS2 nanoribbons for enhanced colorimetric sensing of free cholesterol

TL;DR: A cholesterol detection color wheel which is used along with cost effective cholesterol detection strips fabricated out of proposed MoS2 NRs-Au NPs system for quick and reliable detection of free cholesterol using unaided eye is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anti-quorum Sensing and Anti-biofilm Activity of Delftia tsuruhatensis Extract by Attenuating the Quorum Sensing-Controlled Virulence Factor Production in Pseudomonas aeruginosa

TL;DR: The bacterial extract exhibited anti-quorum sensing activity and inhibited the biofilm formation of clinical isolates wild-type Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 and P. aerug inosa PAH, and has the potential to be used as an anti-pathogenic drug for the treatment of biofilm-forming pathogenic bacteria.
