Productions of Ultra-Fine Powders and Their Use in High Energetic Compositions

TL;DR: In this paper, the important questions are how to produce a powder with specified characteristics and how to use the powder produced, and the important question is how to obtain the desired characteristics from a specified powder.
Journal ArticleDOI

The influence of aluminum powder dispersity on composite solid propellants ignitability by laser radiation

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of experimental study of composite solid propellants based on ammonium nitrate and energetic binder containing aluminum powders of various particle sizes by CO2-laser radiation in air (with ambient pressure) are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of iron and boron ultrafine powders on combustion of aluminized solid propellants

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of ultra-fine iron and amorphous boron additives in CSP formulations based on AP, butadiene rubber and Alex (2 wt. %) on the combustion characteristics was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of aluminum particle size on ignition and nonstationary combustion of heterogeneous condensed systems

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of particle size of aluminum powder in condensed systems on the ignition, non-stationary combustion, and acoustic conductivity of the burning surface are presented, and the experimental data shows that the ignition delay and the temperature of burning surface of the heterogeneous condensed systems under study decrease with increasing particle size.
