Proceedings Article

Indexing multi-dimensional uncertain data with arbitrary probability density functions

TL;DR: The U-tree is proposed, an access method designed to optimize both the I/O and CPU time of range retrieval on multi-dimensional imprecise data and is fully dynamic, and does not place any constraints on the data pdfs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metric and trigonometric pruning for clustering of uncertain data in 2D geometric space

TL;DR: Two pruning methods: pre-computation (PC) and cluster shift (CS) that can significantly reduce the number of integrations computed and two such techniques that are based on metric properties and trigonometry that offer a very high pruning power are proposed and evaluated.
