Journal ArticleDOI

Supermassive Black Holes with High Accretion Rates in Active Galactic Nuclei. IV. H$\beta$ Time Lags and Implications for Super-Eddington Accretion

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report on the results of the second phase of the campaign, during 2013--2014, and the measurements of five new H$\beta$ time lags out of eight monitored AGNs.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Systematic Analysis of Fe II Emission in Quasars: Evidence for Inflow to the Central Black Hole

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed line-fitting technique was developed to quantify the velocity broadening and velocity shift of the Fe II spectrum in order to constrain the location of the emitting region and its relation to the broad-line region.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supermassive Black Holes with High Accretion Rates in Active Galactic Nuclei. IX. 10 New Observations of Reverberation Mapping and Shortened Hβ Lags

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the results of 10 SEAMBHs monitored spectroscopically during 2015-2017, and showed that the H beta time lags of the newly observed objects are shorter than the values predicted by the canonical R-H beta-L-5100 relation of sub-Eddington AGNs.
