Using Kinetic Energy to Evaluate the Severity of Different Types of Traffic Conflict at Signalized Intersections

TL;DR: The results of the research can be directly used by transportation professionals for determining the severity of different types of traffic conflict and can be considered an indicator ofThe severity of potential collisions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Increased serum malondialdehyde levels are associated with grey matter volume loss in patients with non-alcoholic cirrhosis.

TL;DR: In this paper, the relationship between oxidative damage and GMV loss in patients with non-alcoholic cirrhosis was investigated, and it was shown that increased serum malondialdehyde (MDA) levels were associated with GMV losses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rechallenge of immune checkpoint inhibitors in a case with adverse events inducing myasthenia gravis

TL;DR: In this paper , through comparative genomic analysis, the authors identified a pathogenic p.S467C germline variant in SLC22A5 in a thymoma case with ICI-induced myasthenia gravis (MG), which was found to be associated with fatty acid oxidation through its regulation on L-carnitine levels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Finite Element Method Simulation of 35# Steel Cathodic Protection Models in the Seawater

TL;DR: In this paper, the weak form of Laplace equation was deduced to make finite element method (FEM) numerical calculation conveniently, and potential distribution of each physical model was computed by FEM following with measured experiments for validation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mid‐infrared multiline absorption tomography for in situ analysis of thermochemical structure in natural gas‐fired cooker flame

TL;DR: In this paper , a mid-infrared laser absorption tomography technique was developed to quantify the nonuniform thermochemical structures of flames stabilized on a natural gas-fired cooker, where multispectral absorption spectroscopy coupled with Tikhonov regularized three-point Abel inversion was used to resolve the spatially resolved temperature and species concentration.
