Journal ArticleDOI

A method for the deposition of CdTe layers at very low substrate temperatures

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented an evaporation concept which enables access to very low substrate temperatures for the fabrication of CdTe solar cells at promising solar cell efficiencies, and the corresponding solar cell characteristics were compared to cells which were prepared by the conventional close space sublimation method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of point defects by temperature-dependent dechanneling

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the temperature dependence of the minimum yield for a given depth strongly depends on the distance of the displacement from the point defect to the target temperature.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Photonic crystals in lithium niobate by ion-beam enhanced etching

TL;DR: In this article, a photonic crystal defect waveguide fabricated in a freestanding LiNbO 3 membrane is presented, where the three dimensional patterning was done by means of ion-beam enhanced etching.
Journal ArticleDOI

Damage formation in Ge during Ar+ and He+ implantation at 15 K

TL;DR: In this paper, the Rutherford backscattering (RBS) technique in the channelling orientation was used to study the damage built-up in situ, which gave rise to the assumption of amorphous pocket formation per incident ion, already at low implantation fluences.
