Journal ArticleDOI

Bacteria Detection: From Powerful SERS to Its Advanced Compatible Techniques.

TL;DR: Progress report on advances in the detection of bacteria using SERS and other compatible techniques are discussed in order to summarize its development in recent years.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrasensitive and Simultaneous SERS Detection of Multiplex MicroRNA Using Fractal Gold Nanotags for Early Diagnosis and Prognosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

TL;DR: In this article, a magnetically assisted sandwich-type surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-based biosensor was proposed for ultrasound sensitive and multiplex detection of three hepatocellular carcinoma-related microRNA (miRNA) biomarkers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Colorimetric and SERS dual-mode sensing of mercury (II) based on controllable etching of Au@Ag core/shell nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this article, a colorimetric/SERS dual-mode determination of Hg2+ was proposed based on controllable etching Au@Ag NPs, where the silver shells could be etched by S2O32− causing the orange colloidal solution to turn into brick red.
Journal ArticleDOI

Triple-Function Au-Ag-Stuffed Nanopancakes for SERS Detection, Discrimination, and Inactivation of Multiple Bacteria.

TL;DR: Smart triple-functional Au-Ag-stuffed nanopancakes (AAS-NPs) are reported exhibiting controllably oxidative Ag-etching thickness for simultaneously obtaining the best surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) enhancement and high Ag-loading antibacterial drug delivery and expressive Ag+-accelerated releasing capability under neutral phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) pretreatment.
