Temperature dependence of dispersion of G.652 fiber is experimental studied. The dispersion and dispersion slop
variations over a temperature rang of 80°C, from -20°C to 60°C are measured. The effects of temperature dependence of
dispersion on 80Gbit/s 100km OTDM system is experimental studied. Eye diagrams ascribed to the temperature of -20°C, 0°C, 20°C, 40°C, 60°C are demonstrated after 100km transmission link. The effect was also evaluated by BER curves. At
last, dispersion thermal coefficient and dispersion slope thermal coefficient of dispersion compensating fiber were
experimentally measured. The possibility of dynamically compensating chromatic dispersion and chromatic dispersion
slope of G.652 fiber due to environmental temperature alterations by controlling the temperature of dispersion
compensating fiber is proposed.

Development of Low Loss Robust Soft-glass Fiber Splices

In this letter, a novel simultaneous demultiplexing and clock recovery unit based on EAMs and clock recovery module is
presented and experimentally demonstrated for a high speed OTDM system. The 10GHz clock signal with low jitter is
extracted from 80Gbit/s and 160Gbit/s OTDM signal, and every channel of the OTDM signal is successfully
demultiplexed using this unit. The power penalty is lower than 3dB at BER of 10 -9 .

By using thin membrane plating technology in collimating lens, we successfully manufacture a 16×10Gbit/s multiplexer
basing on the combination of fiber and space structure method. The multiplexer is flexible according to your practical
need that can output 20, 40, 80, or 160Gbit/s signal. For 20, 40, 80 or 160Gbit/s multiplexer, insertion loss is 3.5dB, 7dB,
10.5dB and 14dB respectively. The low insertion loss provides maximum transmission power. It also has such features:
high time-delay accuracy, polarization insensitivity, broadband, very short coherence length, high time-delay accuracy,
and excellent temperature stability. It differs from the structure of general Mach-Zehnder interferometer. It has the
structure of Michelson interferometer.

Study on the time delay error for 160Gbit/s multiplexer

In this paper, the Multi-wavelength fiber laser's polarization sensitivity is investigated in the experiment research,
through adopting the polarization scrambler eliminate polarization sensitivity, Stabilizing output eight wavelengths with
the 0.8nm or 1.6nm wavelength interval have been achieved.

Study the application of polarization scrambler in the multi-wavelength fiber laser

Free-space optical (FSO) communication has attracted considerable attention in recent years due to its widely
applications as an alternative to fiber transmission and radio frequency communication system. In this paper an
experiment on 10Gbit/s free-space optical communication channel transmission over 37m was demonstrated and the
system performance was evaluated according to the bit error rate (BER) curve. Using the phase-screen method and
Kolmogorov spectrum, in addition the impact on signal in free-space communication due to atmospheric turbulence was
studied in detail.
