Facile Synthesis and Characterization of Luminescent TiO2 Nanocrystals
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of Extremely Small CdSe and Highly Luminescent CdSe/CdS Core–Shell Nanocrystals via a Novel Two‐Phase Thermal Approach
Journal ArticleDOI
Two-phase synthesis of shape-controlled colloidal zirconia nanocrystals and their characterization.
TL;DR: A two-phase approach for the synthesis of shape-controlled colloidal zirconia nanocrystals, including spherical-, teardrop-, rod-, and rice grain-shaped particles is developed, finding that the key factors for controlling the shape were the reaction time, the nature of the capping agent, and the monomer concentration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of hydrophobic polyvinyl-alcohol formaldehyde sponges as absorbents for oil spill.
TL;DR: Novel macroporous and hydrophobic polyvinyl formaldehyde (PVF-H) sponges were prepared by the reaction of stearoyl chloride with hydroxyl groups of hydrophilic PVF sponge at different temperatures and had excellent absorption performance on oil products.
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystallization behavior of PCL in hybrid confined environment
TL;DR: In this paper, the crystallization behavior of poly(epsilon -caprolactone) (PCL) and silica (SiO2) organic-inorganic hybrid materials have been investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
