Spatiotemporal patterns of vegetation phenology along the urban–rural gradient in Coastal Dalian, China

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), land surface temperature (LST), and land cover data to determine spatiotemporal patterns in vegetation phenology with respect to LST along the urban-rural gradient (URG) in China's coastal Dalian subprovince, with a focus on the main city of Dalian and three sub-cities (Pulandian, Wafangdian, and Zhuanghe).
Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-scale temporal variation of methane flux and its controls in a subtropical tidal salt marsh in eastern China

TL;DR: In this paper, wavelet analysis was applied to explore the multi-scale variations of CH4 flux and its controls in coastal marshes and partial wavelet coherence was used to disentangle confounding effects of measured variables.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of reclamation and natural changes on coastal wetlands bordering China's Yellow Sea from 1984 to 2015

TL;DR: Feng et al. as discussed by the authors proposed a Land Surface Pattern and Simulation (LSP) model for land surface pattern and simulation at the University of Oklahoma's Center for Spatial Analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Estimation of crop gross primary production (GPP): I. impact of MODIS observation footprint and impact of vegetation BRDF characteristics

TL;DR: In this article, the impacts of the MODIS observation footprint and the vegetation bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) on crop daily GPP estimation with the four spectral vegetation indices (NDVI, enhanced vegetation index (EVI), green band chlorophyll index (CIgreen), and the green band wide dynamic range vegetation index(WDRVIgreen) were computed from the moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) surface reflectance data.
