Journal ArticleDOI
Microglia-derived TNF-α mediates endothelial necroptosis aggravating blood brain-barrier disruption after ischemic stroke.
An-qi Chen,Zhi Fang,Xiao-Lu Chen,Shuai Yang,Yifan Zhou,Ling Mao,Yuan-Peng Xia,Huijuan Jin,Yanan Li,Mingfeng You,X. Wang,Hao Lei,Quan-Wei He,Bo Hu +13 more
TL;DR: Anti-TNFα (infliximab, a potent clinically used drug) treatment significantly ameliorate endothelial necroptosis, BBB destruction and improve stroke outcomes and suggest infliximab might serve as a potential drug for stroke therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
MicroRNA-150 regulates blood-brain barrier permeability via Tie-2 after permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion in rats.
Zhi Fang,Quan-Wei He,Qian Li,Xiao-Lu Chen,Suraj Baral,Huijuan Jin,Yi-Yi Zhu,Man Li,Yuan-Peng Xia,Ling Mao,Bo Hu +10 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that microRNA‐150 could regulate claudin‐5 expression and endothelial cell survival by targeting Tie‐2, thus affecting the permeability of BBB after permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion in rats, and that miR‐150 might be a potential alternative target for the treatment of stroke.
Journal ArticleDOI
MiR‐150 Regulates Poststroke Cerebral Angiogenesis via Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor in Rats
Quan-Wei He,Qian Li,Huijuan Jin,Fang Zhi,Baral Suraj,Yi-Yi Zhu,Yuan-Peng Xia,Ling Mao,Xiao-Lu Chen,Bo Hu +9 more
TL;DR: This study reports a miR‐150‐based mechanism underlying cerebral poststroke angiogenesis, which is a harmonized target for poststroke recovery.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diabetic and stress‐induced hyperglycemia in spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage: A multicenter prospective cohort (CHEERY) study
Shao-li Chen,Yan Wan,Hongxiu Guo,Jing Shen,Man Li,Yuan-Peng Xia,Lei-Lei Zhang,Zhou Sun,Xiao-Lu Chen,Gang Li,Quan-Wei He,B. Hu +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the causal relationship between SIH and spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) was found to be a rare finding after DM secondary to pre-existing diabetes mellitus or stress-induced hyperglycemia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prediction of Neurological Deterioration After Intracerebral Hemorrhage: The SIGNALS Score.
Quan-Wei He,Hongxiu Guo,Rentang Bi,Shao-li Chen,Jing Shen,Chunnan Long,Man Li,Yuan-Peng Xia,Lei-Lei Zhang,Zhou Sun,Xiao-Lu Chen,Zhaowei Wang,Daokai Gong,Jing Xu,Dondya Zhu,Yan Wan,B. Hu +16 more
TL;DR: The SIGNALS score reliably predicts the risk of in-hospital neurological deterioration of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage.
