Chemical constituents from Euphorbia stracheyi Boiss

TL;DR: The chemical investigation of whole plants Euphorbia stracheyi Boiss led to the isolation of 14 compounds, including eight diterpenes, one monoterpene, three coumarins, and two phenols, which were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analyses and by comparison with the literature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pleiocarpumlignan A, a new dineolignan from Piper pleiocarpum Chang ex Tseng

TL;DR: One new dineolignan, pleiocarpumlignan A, is isolationed along with one known benzoate derivative, trans-2,3-diacetoxy-1-[(benzoy1oxy)methyl]-cyclohexa-4,6-diene, and two known neolignans as (±)-trans-dehydrodiisoeugenol, which were elucidated through extensive spectroscopic analyses.
Journal ArticleDOI

The genus Amoora: A phytochemical and pharmacological review.

TL;DR: The present review may provide useful evidence for reasonable utilization of Amoora species as folk medicines and further research in drug discovery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Four new chemical constituents from Piper pleiocarpum.

TL;DR: All isolated compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against five human cancer cell lines and only compound 4 showed weak inhibitory activity against MCF-7 cell line with IC50 value of 18.24 ± 0.69 μM.
Journal ArticleDOI

ROS elevate HIF-1α phosphorylation for insect lifespan through the CK2-MKP3-p38 pathway.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors showed that reactive oxygen species (ROS) and hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) in the brains of diapause-destined pupae are more abundant than those in non-deterministic pupae in Helicoverpa armigera.
