TL;DR: CP therapy was well tolerated and could potentially improve the clinical outcomes through neutralizing viremia in severe COVID-19 cases and the optimal dose and time point, as well as the clinical benefit of CP therapy, needs further investigation in larger well-controlled trials.

TL;DR: In this paper, a production method of virus-inactivated plasma for treating COVID-19 was proposed, which comprises the following steps: (1) collecting convalescent plasma or plasma immune to a Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 vaccine (SARS-CoV-2 vaccine), and conducting pretreatment; (2) adding methylene blue, and conducting photo-inactivation on the plasma; and (3) conducting labeling and packaging after the plasma passes tests.
