Journal ArticleDOI
An N,N'-dioxide/In(OTf)3 catalyst for the asymmetric Hetero-Diels-Alder reaction between Danishefsky's dienes and aldehydes: application in the total synthesis of triketide
Journal ArticleDOI
Enantioselective Friedel–Crafts Alkylation of Indoles with Alkylidene Malonates Catalyzed by N,N′‐Dioxide–Scandium(III) Complexes: Asymmetric Synthesis of β‐Carbolines
TL;DR: An efficient catalytic asymmetric Friedel-Crafts alkylation of indoles with alkylidene malonates has been developed by using a chiral N,N'-dioxide-Sc(OTf)(3) complex as the catalyst (see scheme).
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric Intramolecular Oxa‐Michael Addition of Activated α,β‐Unsaturated Ketones Catalyzed by a Chiral N,N′‐Dioxide Nickel(II) Complex: Highly Enantioselective Synthesis of Flavanones
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric α-amination of 4-substituted pyrazolones catalyzed by a chiral Gd(OTf)3/N,N'-dioxide complex: highly enantioselective synthesis of 4-amino-5-pyrazolone derivatives.
TL;DR: The asymmetric α-amination of 4-substituted pyrazolones with azodicarboxylates was investigated for the first time, employing an N,N'-dioxide gadolinium(III) complex as the catalyst and exhibited high yield and enantioselectivities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric Carbonyl-Ene Reaction Catalyzed by Chiral N,N′-Dioxide-Nickel(II) Complex: Remarkably Broad Substrate Scope
TL;DR: Highly enantioselective carbonyl-ene reaction of glyoxal derivatives and glyoxylate with various alkenes was accomplished using a novel nickel(II)-N,N'-dioxide complex under mild conditions, which facilitated the asymmetric synthesis of biologically interesting alpha-hydroxycarbonyl compounds.
